To make these fitness bars, we will start by placing in a blender or in the glass of a kitchen motor the dried figs with liquid stevia and juice of two orange segments (about 4 tablespoons). We activate the motor and process until obtaining a consistent but moist paste, if necessary we add water little by little by tablespoons until obtaining a fig paste.

In a bowl we mix the figs with all the dry ingredients: the oat flakes (I processed them a little to make them smaller), the grated coconut, the coarsely chopped walnuts and the almonds cut in half. At this point you can add more water if necessary or more sweetener if, having tried it, it seems that there is a lack of sweetness.

Step bars

We join all the ingredients with the help of a spoon or using our hands to achieve it and in a rectangular container we place the preparation, flattening it and spreading until it reaches a centimeter thick. We mark the bars (rectangular or square) and we take them to the refrigerator for an hour.

After that time the bars will be firm, consistent and crisp. We unmold and ready to eat.
